President: Mark K. Altschuler, M.S.

Mark K.Altschuler, M.S., is President of Pension Analysis Consultants Inc., of Elkins Park, PA. Mr. Altschuler has prepared over twelve thousand marital pension valuations and draft QDRO's for counsel, and is well-versed in the complex arena of equitable distribution in marital dissolution matters. Mr. Altschuler is widely recognized and nationally respected by the legal community for clearly presenting and explaining the concepts of present value analysis and valuing pensions both in the courtroom as expert witness testimony and at seminars at state and county bar associations, private firms and Continuing Legal Education workshops. Mr. Altschuler, a former analytical engineer with a fifteen-year background in applied mathematics, has over fifteen years’ experience in pensionand property/casualty areas, and is an affiliated member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). He is a contributing author to the companion textbook of Valuation Strategies in Divorce, Vol. 5 and Valuing Specific Assets In Divorce, published by Wolters Kluwer. Mr. Altschuler has also authored numerous articles on the various issues in pensions in divorce that have been published in major legal publications, including American Journal of Family Law, New Jersey Lawyer, and Pennsylvania Family Lawyer.
