Senior Actuary: Marvin Snyder

Marvin Snyder is Senior Actuary for Pension Analysis Consultants, Inc., Elkins Park, Pennsylvania and President of Marvin Snyder Associates, Inc., Las Vegas, Nevada. He is a professional qualified pension actuary with more than thirty years of experience. Mr. Snyder has served as a pension consultant for defined benefit pension plans, annuity plans and profit sharing plans of all types and sizes.

Mr. Snyder has prepared more than ten thousand marital pension valuations, drafted thousands of "QDRO's" for counsel and has served as an expert witness on the equitable distribution of pension values. He has written numerous articles, spoken at many seminars including the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and National Judicial College, and has been a lecturer at Temple University, Purdue University and the Institute of Paralegal Training.

He is the author of the book Value of Pensions in Divorce, Fourth Edition, Aspen Law and Business 2002; with annual Supplements. In addition, Mr. Snyder is the author of a chapter entitled Valuation of Pensions in the book, Valuation Strategies in Divorce, Fourth Edition, Aspen Law & Business, New York, 1999. In addition to his numerous published writings for articles in major legal and business publications, he is the author of a widely distributed newsletter on pension issues in marital dissolution.
